There has been some great news for Grand rapids real estate as well as the housing market nation wide.

Foreclosures are down to the lowest rate since 2007 according to RealtyTrac.  In an article posted on housingwire.com , banks filed foreclosure papers on roughly 205,000 homes, the lowest since 2007.  For more on the article, click here and see.

In an article just posted by CNN Money, the federal government has extended a waiver to let FHA buyers flip houses, in an effort to stabilize the National and local Grand Rapids area housing market. This will help foreclosures from being left on the Grand Rapids real estate market for extended periods of time and help bring the market back to a more stable outlook.
